How can you help?

Activity Bags
Activity Bags are for children. These bags can help keep kids calm, occupied, and comfortable during a stressful time.
You can include items such as:
-
Small snacks and drinks
-
Handheld toys or small activities
-
Coloring books and crayons
You can also make age-specific bags — for toddlers, children, pre-teens, or teens — to make sure each child receives items that fit their age and interests.

Safe Bags
Safe Bags are designed for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The process following an incident can take time, and these bags provide comfort and basic necessities during that difficult period.
Suggested items include:
-
Toothbrush and toothpaste
-
Hairbrush, rubber bands, and personal care items
-
Socks, shoes, sweatpants or shorts, and a T-shirt
-
Snacks and drinks
These thoughtful bags offer a sense of care and dignity when survivors need it most.

Stress Kits
Stress Kits help survivors and witnesses manage anxiety during interviews or lengthy investigations. These small comforts can make a big difference. Ideas for items:
-
Notepad and pen
-
Mints, gum, or small snacks
-
Fidget items
-
Snacks and Drinks
These kits are meant to calm, focus, and support individuals during stressful situations.
Other Ways to Help
If you’d like to make a difference but can’t donate a full bag, you can still help! Bring whatever items you can — we’ll assemble bags from combined donations. We just ask that all items be new and in their original packaging whenever possible.
You can also donate your time. Contact your local Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, or Shelter to see if they accept volunteers and what their requirements are.
If you’re unsure how you can help, don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, or Shelter for guidance.
Before gathering donations, please call ahead to confirm what items are currently needed.
No matter what you can or cannot help with, we appreciate you.
