Sexual Assault Awareness Event

Cancelation

The City of Belton is taking the COVID-19 threat to the health and wellbeing of our
residents seriously,” said Lt. Davis. “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently
updated their advice on social distancing, from maintaining a 6-foot distance to maintaining
a range of 6- to10-foot distance. The closure of these city public access spaces is one of
our measures to follow this recommended best practice.”

With this being said we unfortunately will need to cancel our Sexual Assault Awareness Event that was scheduled for April 11th, 2020. We will try to do some online awareness post to try and still get the awareness out.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Belton Police Department Victim Service Unit at 816-348-4430.
